What are your hours?
Our studio is open Wednesday to Sunday from 12 pm to 6 pm-ish. Please note that each artist creates their own schedule and corresponds directly with their clients. While there is usually someone in the studio most days during our regular hours, we may be closed on major holidays, during hurricanes, and other exceptional circumstances.
Your artist may accommodate appointments outside of our regular hours, which can be preferred by some clients as the studio tends to be quieter during off-peak times.
I reached out to (your artist) and haven’t heard back yet. What do I do?
We apologize for any inconvenience caused. Sometimes, due to high demand or busy schedules, messages can inadvertently be overlooked. We recommend reaching out to your artist again. If you still don't receive a response, please feel free to email the shop at info.easttattoo@gmail.com, and we'll assist you in getting sorted out.
Do you accept walk-in’s?
While some of our artists tend to book far in advance, we may have artists available for walk-in appointments at certain times. To inquire about walk-in availability, we recommend calling the shop at 407-745-4562 or reaching out to your preferred artist via text or direct message.
How do I make an appointment?
To make an appointment, please reach out to your preferred artist directly. Each artist handles their own scheduling and has their own protocol for booking appointments. You can explore our artist portfolios on our website to decide which artist is the right fit for you. Once you've chosen an artist, follow their individual instructions for booking your first appointment.
Do you tattoo minors?
No. We do not tattoo minors (under 18) under any circumstances.
Do you do piercings?
We do NOT have a piercer at the shop.
How much does it cost?
The cost of a tattoo can vary depending on factors such as size, placement, color or black and gray, and more. Each artist sets their own rates. For smaller, single-session tattoos, we often provide a flat rate. For larger, multiple-session tattoos, your artist will likely charge an hourly rate or a predetermined "day rate."
Please note that our regular shop minimum is $150 except during special events.
How long will I have to wait?
The wait time for an appointment depends on the artist you choose, the size of your project, and your availability in relation to your artist's schedule at the time of your inquiry. Some of our artists may be booked several months in advance with no availability for walk-ins or new clients, while others may have openings within the week.
Please understand that an artist's availability does not reflect their skill level. Various factors contribute to an artist's schedule, such as personal commitments, experience, relocation history, and unique artistic styles. Regardless of the wait, we assure you that your chosen artist will make it worth it in the end.
Where can I park?
There are several two-hour parallel parking spaces just out front of the studio, as well as on the neighboring back streets, like HERE
Additionally, there are several public parking lots nearby. HERE or HERE
Why should I choose The East for my tattoo?
The Orlando area is home to numerous excellent tattoo shops. At The East, we pride ourselves on having a crew of a dozen custom tattooers, each with their own unique style and the freedom to create their own schedules. This approach reduces pressure on our artists and allows them to be the best version of their creative selves. We never pressure our artists to do tattoos they don't want to do. As a result, when you get tattooed here, your artist is likely just as excited about your tattoo project as you are to wear it.
Your artist will provide guidance on the ideal size, placement, and composition for your tattoo design, ensuring that you leave with a tattoo that not only looks great but also fits you perfectly. Whether it's a sleeve, a backpiece, or a one-hour walk-in, our artists will work with you to make your tattoo a true reflection of you.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards. However, please note that some of our artists may add a surcharge to cover processing fees. To avoid any additional charges, we recommend paying with cash. During your consultation, you can discuss with your artist how much cash you should bring for your appointment.
